About the Exhibition
Our Treasures: Highlights from the Minnesota Museum of American Art, organized by Minnesota Museum of American Art, begins its tour this August at the Tweed Museum of Art in Duluth. Curated by MMAA’s executive director Dr. Kristin Makholm, Our Treasures features 30 of the most significant works from the MMAA’s collection. The exhibition will tour three museums in Minnesota between August 2011 and May 2012.
It will then visit the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota, in fall 2012 and return to the Twin Cities at the Weisman Art Museum in winter 2013.
